Pop Up Restaurant @ The Stables

Join us in the Horse Stalls of Falkland Estate Stables for our monthly Pop up Restaurant. Our chef for March is Kevin Hodgson. Kevin’s passion for cooking was ignited as a young lad helping his Mother in the kitchen.

Starter

Ham Terrine
or
Seasonal Vegetable Terrine

both served with pickled vegetables and tarragon mayonnaise 

Main

Daube* of venison with celeriac puree, spring greens and a port jus
or
Root vegetable stew with herbed dumplings and sweet potato gratin

*(slow cooked shoulder in red wine and herbs de provincial)

Dessert 

Rhubarb and vanilla cream mille-feuille
or
Chocolate and walnut tart with homemade orange liqueur ice cream 

The dining experience will be a relaxed and social one at communal tables, with each table holding up to 7 guests. We will provide glasses for you to bring your own bottle on the night with no corkage charged. The menu is priced at £30 per person, which can be paid electronically at time of booking or in cash on the night.
