Come and join Daniel Westall from Outback2Basics for an inspiring three-day drum-making course.

Daniel will be sharing his extensive knowledge of primitive and traditional crafts gathered through years of living and studying in America.

Under his guidance and working with native deer hides, carefully selected wood splints and natural pigments you will learn how to make your own unique Native American Lakota Frame Drum.

Set on the beautiful Falkland Estate, your course will take place in the original Victorian sawmill, which has now been renovated with beautiful glass skylights, featuring outstanding views of the Lomond Hills & surrounded by a captivating oak, spruce & birch woodland.

For those requiring accommodation there are a wide variety of options available in the local area including camping with facilities such as fire pits, showers & toilet facilities at Pillars of Hercules which is within walking distance of the Woodland Hub and airbnb accommodation is available in the historic village of Falkland.
