Tin Works: Recycled Tin Taster Sessions (free)

Saturday 17th June

3 sessions

10.30am-11.30am, 12 noon-1pm, 2pm-3pm

Discover how you can turn your old biscuit and sweet tins into beautiful objects embellished with feathers, beads, buttons and other recycled materials. Using just a few simple tools and techniques, you’ll make your own squirrel or bird to take away with you. There’ll be plenty of examples to help get you started.

No experience of working with tin required – just book your place then come along and have fun trying something new. Here’s the links to book:

All materials and tools supplied. Please note: you need to be 14 or over to participate in these workshops. 

Philippa Johnston is a Fife-based metalsmith and textile artist who works with recycled tin, wire and other materials to create two and three dimensional decorative and functional pieces inspired by folk art.
