Friends of Falkland’s Heritage support the work of Falkland Heritage Trust, the charity which runs Falkland Centre for Stewardship. By joining the Friends you help to continue that support and will help us to:
- restore the House of Falkland as a national cultural asset
- conserve and maintain Falkland Estate’s historic landscape
- develop the Falkland Centre for Stewardship to promote learning, debate and care of our built and natural heritage.
In exchange, Friends receive regular newsletters, invitation to our events at discount prices (where applicable) and discount on merchandise. As well as financially helping, there are many other ways that you can get involved in our work on Falkland Estate. For example:
- Helping with administration in the office
- Fundraising
- Distributing leaflets, posters and flyers
- Tree and shrub planting
- Leading walks
- General maintenance around the Estate
- Acting as a guide to the House of Falkland
- Volunteering for events including the Big Tent
