Our local guest chef for November is Alister Reid. Following the success of the Multi award winning Westport Cafe voted best in Fife & Scotland 2017, Alister now brings you his new catering company Tartan Stag. His philosophy is simple, producing the best local and seasonal produce Scotland has to offer and making his guests smile through the food he creates.

The dining experience will be a relaxed and social one at communal tables, with each table holding up to 7 guests. We will provide glasses for you to bring your own bottle on the night with no corkage charged. Our November menu is priced at £26 per person which is payable in cash on the night.

Eden Mill Gin cured Salmon – Rainbow Beets – Pickled radish – Dill – Pomegranate

Compressed Peach – Crème Fraiche

Mains:

Loin of Downfield Farm Venison – Kale – Mushrooms – Parsnip – Roosters potato

Sprout leaves – Hazelnuts – Cranberries – Blackcurrant Cordial Jus

Twice Baked Black Crowdie Cheese Soufflé – Roasted Pumpkin – Braised Spelt – Baby Carrots

Dessert:

White Chocolate & Cardamom Mousse Dome – Pistachio sponge – Raspberry’s
