Circle Dancing for Spring
Sunday 10th March
2pm – 4pm
£5 – spaces are limited to 25, so please register your place here.
Circle Dancing is community dancing in a circle.
Join us as we welcome the Spring through movement – regardless of the weather! This special Spring Circle Dance is ideal for beginners. We are delighted to welcome Rose Cross, who runs popular regular groups in Fife. Rose is an experienced teacher who leads warm, welcoming and immensely enjoyable sessions – sharing in the joy of dance and bringing people together. The dances are easy and fun, some are lively and some are gentle and reflective, dancing to music from around the world. There is no audience and anyone of any age or ability can join in. No partner or experience needed.
We will have two half-hour dancing sessions, with a break in the middle. Spring drinks, tea and coffee will be provided. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes – something colourful as a nod to the Spring if you wish!
Dancing in a circle is an ancient tradition common to many cultures around the globe for all sorts of reasons, such as marking special occasions, strengthening community and encouraging togetherness.
